Cumbersome Catalog - Carless Dance

 You pull me up from my seat with a smile. The colors brighten and my heart races. You grasp my hand tightly as you already have done with my love. I'm nervous. My hands are covered in sweat and trembling in fear; and yet you don't seem to mind. With that look in your eyes you draw me to the center of the floor. 

Spinning around and around in circles. My feet tap, hips swing, and arms hold you close. Everyone's eyes are on us, and my eyes are on you. You have taken my world by force but I happily give it all to you. I spin my fears and anxieties away and your sweet intoxication fulfil my desires. I want nothing more than this moment. 

We dance. 

I lean in and whisper in your ear. "I love you..." And as I shift back you grab me by the cheeks and pull me into a long kiss. My world drops, raises, and explodes all in a single second. My heart bursts out of my chest and my blood surges through my body like rushing rapids. I feel as if I'm flying at a million miles an hour. All my dreams being realized in a moment. Though it was only but a brief moment, it felt like an eternity. I'm lost in this high and I'll never come down. And...

We dance... and dance... and dance.
